Coronavirus (SARS CoV-2) Vaccine
Vaccine Coronavirus (SARS CoV-2)
The Covid-19 Vaccine is currently the most sought after question by the population of the entire globe, so that later this vaccine will be a major tool in controlling the pandemic and the population.
It takes a long time and analysis to develop a safe and effective vaccine, but researchers around the world have been working on developing a safe vaccine against Sars-CoV-2 for almost 10 months. There are currently about 200 candidates working on the development of a vaccine, some of these candidates being in the third phase of clinical trials - the last stage before the approval of the vaccine. Following all the research and hard work, the first approved COVID vaccine was the RNA messenger-based vaccine, a technique that has been widely studied for more than 15 years.
How the RNA technique works: the researchers analyze the general information of the virus, then extract a spiky protein and remove from it the RNA message that produces it, then this RNA message is inserted into a fat capsule. These fat capsules with RNA are then introduced into the human body by vaccine, so the capsules stick to the walls of the muscles which in turn are still made up of fat. The capsule with the vaccine message (RNA message) fuses with the cell wall to reach the ribosome. So the RNA messenger in the vaccine gives the ribosome indications for the production of the protein that resembles the spiky protein on the surface of the Corona virus. T cells in the immune system react as soon as they see something irregular in the body and ask for reinforcement of the B cells, so the B cells will organize the defense and thus ANTIBODIES will be produced. The Antibodies produced by the immune system will act harshly and will serve as a defense against the CORONA virus (Sars-CoV-2).
It is worth mentioning that the most powerful states in the world have already developed and registered the new CORONA vaccine. We can certainly say that some states such as the USA, Great Britain, India and Russia have already started mass vaccination of the population, the people who were given the vaccine having different reactions. There is a global demand for antivirus in the world, but that does not mean that everyone will receive the vaccine at the same time, which takes months or even years to vaccinate the entire population. However, the priority for vaccination will be the people who work in the medical system and the social assistance system in the first stage, in the second stage high-risk personal vaccines will be vaccinated and in the third stage the general population will be vaccinated.
The first COVID-19 vaccine being authorized on December 21, 2020 on the territory of the European Union is the vaccine developed by BioNTech and Pfizer, which is already approved for vaccination throughout the EU on December 27, 2020. On January 6, 2021, the second vaccine against COVID-19 was authorized by the European Commission, this vaccine being created by MODERNA. We mention that the vaccine against COVID-19 is to be administered in two stages, from the first administration until the second a distance of 17-21 days is needed, the second vaccination being mandatory with the same vaccine as in the first. Vaccination is required only when the person is healthy and not when they are already infected with the new Sars-CoV-2 virus.
At the moment, the antivirus is recommended for administration to people over 16 years old, so children are not recommended for administration yet. Following vaccination, there are cases of adverse reactions such as: swelling at the injection site, headache and limb pain, fatigue and fever. The side effects can be observed in the first 3 days after the administration of the antivirus and can disappear after about 2 days.
In case of more severe side effects, it is recommended to consult a doctor or vaccination centers.
Vaccination offers about 95% protection, so we should not ignore other protection measures such as personal hygiene, wearing masks, social distance… all this in combination giving us maximum protection against infection with the new type of COVID-19 virus.
At the moment it is not mandatory to administer the COVID vaccine, no state has imposed anyone for vaccination yet, so it is everyone's right to choose whether they want to administer the vaccine or not.
It is important to guard against being healthy! Take care of yourself because no one else will do it for you!
